By the end of the course you will be comfortable approaching or elevating your current and future eCommerce implementations. 

                    

The eCommerce Masterclass will provide you with key skills and understandings of everything needed in order to develop an effective strategy, delivery and results from your new eCommerce implementation.

• What are some of the popular platforms and which platform should I choose?
• How much is this going to cost?
• Omnichannel vs Multichannel
• Partnering with an agency
• Minimum viable product & scalability
• Categories, products and navigation
• Search functionality
• Whats data, what can I do with it, and why is it important?
• Preparing and sending important emails at various stages
• A brief look at integrations with other platforms, plugins and widgets

Throughout a mix of tutorials, practical activities and group session work you will learn how to work with stakeholders, decide on the best platform to use, understand costs and benefits, set KPI’s, work through data and more.

 

Learn by Doing

We’ll cover the concepts, but also demonstrate the exercises and methods we use daily to push our products forward and make sure they’ll succeed and stand out. Students will enjoy a mix of lectures and workshop time, where they will get to practice these methods and then apply them to their projects.

The final project is presented in person to the client, where students deliver a presentation summarising their journey, process, and work throughout the ten-week course.

In order to encourage discussion and collaboration we limit our class sizes to 8 students.

Who is this course for?

The course is perfect for anyone who is looking to add an understanding of the eCommerce process to their current skillset.

Previous students include user experience designers, account managers, front-end developers, graphic designers and brand consultants.

Although there are no pre-requisites to take the course, having a keen interest in website build and development definitely helps. There is no need to have any knowledge of particular software as you will be taught everything along the way.

Who is the instructor?

Justin Biddle has 20 years’ experience in online retail and digital media has delivered results for clients as diverse as Astley Clarke, BSkyB, CNBC, The Dorchester Group, Disney,Domino’s Pizza, eBookers, Start-rite Shoes, Teachers’ TV, Valentino, and WH Smith.

He was the Managing Director and founder of a well respected retail focused digital technology business and holds an MBA from Imperial College.

Classes are held Wednesdays, 6:30pm-9:30pm

January 14th, 2019 - January 18th, 2019 (One week intensive)

February 18th, 2019 - February 22nd, 2019 (One week intensive)

Course fees

The course costs £2,000.00 + VAT per student.

A deposit of £200.00 + VAT reserves a space with the remainder of the course fees paid in three instalments (via direct debit) during the course.

Classes are limited to 8 students maximum.

The course takes place in our studio in Shoreditch, London.
