A little bit about Experience Haus
Aside from like-minded people and a great sense of community, our partnership with various co-working spaces around London provides a pool of local startups who are keen to work with upcoming talent. Our product design course is unique in that it pairs students with live client projects to apply learnings in a real world context, and help make a genuine impact.
What will you learn?
We cover a variety of topics across user experience and user interface design. These include research tactics, design thinking, product management, customer journeys, ideation and more – all of which play an important role in making successful design decisions. The course features a client project with a local startup, which students work on independently.
The visual design section teaches industry leading tools (we use Sketch and Invision), and how to visualise solutions rooted in research and user testing. Students also learn how to implement best practices, conventions, and the latest design trends and guidelines into their work.
The final project is presented in person to the entire class with the startup present. Students are asked to deliver a presentation summarising their journey, process, and work throughout the ten-week course.

For the intensive one week format, you are in class Monday to Friday each day from 9:30am to 5pm.
Location: Experience Haus at the Matter Of Form Offices – Unit 4 Galaxy House, 32 Leonard Street, Old Street, London, EC2A 4LZ. If using Old Street station, please take Subway 2 and then we are just a 2 minute walk from there.
Who is the course for?
The course is perfect for anyone who is looking to add digital product design skills to their existing skillset or those looking to explore a new potential career
For example we have had account managers, front-end developers, graphic designers and brand consultants complete our course. Although there are no pre-requisites to take the course, having a keen interest in design definitely helps. There is no need to have any knowledge of particular software as you will be taught everything you will need to learn along the way.
Course fees and class sizes
The course cost is £1,500 per student. To ensure the quality of education, and maximise contact hours, we cap class sizes at 8 students.
A £150.00 deposit reserves a space on the course, with the remaining course fees paid in equal three instalments once the course starts.
